Kaya dog postcard at Algonquin Park 2013
I ended up posting only a few times in 2013, so here are some of the other things I was up to last year: I went on 3 camping trips; one to Algonquin Park, one to Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park, one to Georgian Bay Islands National Park. I also had fun watching from the neighbor’s yard while people repaired the house; played with sticks in the dark at the park; made it up the porch stairs in all kinds of weather and did plenty of downward dog (Downward dog is my way of hinting that it is time to go for a W-A-L-K). As of Nov. 25 2013 I can now proudly say that I am 11 years old. By all accounts I have calmed down a bit and am not as reactive as I was. I’ll still frisk people when they come to the door, but I come down from my home security fervor a bit more easily.

The only photo we took at Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park was of our campsite from the canoe as we were leaving.
If you look closely, you can see me and my human on the rock here at Georgian Bay Islands National Park.

In the foreground you can see me drinking from Georgian Bay. In the background you can see where we stored our food and ate our meals from the idyllic perch atop the rock overlooking gorgeous Georgian Bay.

After the night-time rainstorm filled with thunder and lightning left. This is the view from our tent in the morning. Tributaries opened up on the beach to the bay to drain the excess water.
A tree fell 20 feet from our tent the night before, after the wind snapped the trunk. I was so scared in the storm I climbed on my human’s lap!!
Watching the house being fixed from the neighbour’s yard. I like going back there. It’s forbidden fruit
Here I am, chewing a stick at a night-time play session at the park with Lev.
Climbing up the porch in the autumn while computing is happening.(All kinds of computer figuring goes on around here)
